British Airways to provide free high-speed onboard wifi via Starlink partnership
Travelers on this carrier can soon access high-speed internet in the air at no cost due to a recent deal from Elon Musk's communications provider.

British Airways revealed that this free, “fast and dependable” connectivity provision from the satellite provider will be available for travelers flying economy, business, or first class as of next month.
Expanded Rollout Across Multiple Carriers
The parent organization for the airline, International Airlines Group, announced it had reached an agreement with the satellite firm to offer wifi coverage on more than 500 planes operated by their carriers, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.
Smooth Internet starting at Gate through Landing
The airline explained that the introduction of this service was included in a multi-billion pound “transformation” initiative and would provide smooth internet access for passengers starting at boarding to arrival, also when in flight across large bodies of water or remote regions.
