Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Lost Pet in Mexican Territory to £15,000

Welsh soccer player Ramsey has boosted the incentive for information regarding his lost canine Halo to $20,000.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that the beagle was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state region.

the dog, who went missing on 9 October, was had on a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a exact coordinates of her last known location.

"Any updates concerning our pet Halo please contact us. Substantial incentive for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she's ok and can be back with us soon," the athlete shared on Instagram.

Earlier Bounty and Emotional Appeals

The footballer initially disclosed that Halo had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded several photos of the cherished dog on Instagram.

A $10,000 incentive was first provided, but with absence of information on Halo's location after a week, Ramsey and his family raised the sum.

"We just want our girl back," he said in a further request on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet was lost.

The most recent photograph post is a black and white photo of the beagle sleeping, its head resting in the curve of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you again sweet Halo."

Household's Concerns and Context

Ramsey has also shared a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have some "important questions" about the incident and fear the family "could possibly not get answers".

"We still are still searching for Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's message read.

The Welsh captain signed with Mexican premier club Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his first appearance in Liga MX in August.

Born in Caerphilly athlete is the first well-known British player to play in the Mexican league.
